Workshops Members have enjoyed many exclusive OPC puppet workshops with professional puppeteers. Here are a few of the highlights... David Smith of Kingston, Ontario instructs a marionette workshop in 1998. He also taught a manipulation workshop in 1999. Noreen Young of Almonte, Ontario has instructed several workshops for OPC mebmers. The photos shown above are from workshops in 1998 and 2001. David Powell of Puppetmongers in Toronto, Ontario instructed a puppet building workshop in 2004. These unique puppets had a wooden frame construction. Also in 2004 Bob Stutt from Pembroke, Ontario taught a manipulation workshop. He showed OPC members techniques for glove puppet manipulation and introduced the use of TV monitors.
