HistoryThe Ottawa Puppetry Club was founded February 27, 1997 by puppeteer Sarah Noelle Shepard (formerly Sarah Noelle Chrisman). The first meetings were held at puppteer's homes, and later on at the Canadian Martyrs Church Parish Centre. Some have gone on to form their own puppetry companies, while others have been with OPC from the very start. She performed as half of the Pegaron Puppetry troupe for six years and is a Past Secretary of the OPC.
