This presentation features an innovative glove puppetry technique designed by Mike Artelle who found inspiration through the work of TV pioneer John Conway and the live productions by Ronnie Burkett. Like marionettes, these puppet figures are realistically proportioned yet are manipulated directly using the glove puppet technique. Soft-sculpting is used to shape the puppets features, such as their Superhero muscles. They are performed on a table-top stage with marionette sized props and scenery.
